The Cherry on Top- Cherry Chip Cake with Cherry Buttercream
These homemade cherry chip cupcakes, topped with almond buttercream, chocolate ganache, and a cherry, were the perfect informal dessert for a summer pool party. After a busy and stressful week, a laid-back afternoon with good friends, a cool pool, and an unexpected summer storm offered a reminder that we don't always need to add more, fix more, or make everything perfect. Sometimes, allowing “good enough” to be the cherry on top is exactly what we need.
